We have conducted trials for over forty Canadian and international
companies. Our field work includes both efficacy and residue trials with
herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and nematocides. As well, we
conduct efficacy trials on fertilizers, soil amendments, biological
pesticides, wetting agents, and surfactants. Our clients are most often
from industry, however, demand from grower organizations increases each
year.
We grow a wide variety of annual crops for efficacy and crop residue
trials and have access to apple, pear, stone fruit orchards, and grapes.
To reach areas outside Ontario, we have developed a network of
subcontractors with whom we have established working relationships. Over
the past few years, we have managed projects in Quebec, Prince Edward
Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Alberta and British
Columbia. We also subcontract to the Northern United States.
We have a full line of farm and research equipment to perform all
cultural and application requirements of most study plans.
We operate under the United States Environmental Protection
Agency's (FIFRA) Good Laboratory
Practice Standards (GLP) and the Organization for
Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) GLP guidelines for the
majority of our residue and environmental fate studies.
Our consulting services include project management for GLP
studies, GLP training and facility upgrades, and preparation of efficacy
data summaries.
