Julie Penner

A graduate of the University of Guelph, Julie comes from a stong agricultural background in Southern Ontario. She brings small plot research expertise in crop protection and in plant breeding. Since joining the team at VARS in 1999, the principles of GLP have been integrated into her research expertise.

Jamie Parnell

Jamie arrived at VARS in the spring of 1997, after completing his MSc. at the University of Guelph. His main focus has been terrestrial dissipation studies and running the turf efficacy program. With his extensive GLP experience and training, he has also filled the role as Study Director for VARS-managed projects.
